Das dritte Kolloquium der Internationalen Arnim-Gesellschaft stellt Achim von Arnim in den politischen, kulturpolitischen und literarischen Kontext Preußens im zweiten Jahrzehnt des 19. Jahrhunderts. Arnims Berliner Zeit (1809--1814) ist durch die Vielfältigkeit der literarischen und journalistischen Produktionen zum Zenit in Arnims Leben geworden. Fragen der Bildung und Politik werden ebenso untersucht wie der spezielle "romantische" Kontext von Arnims Berliner Jahren (Berliner Kunst, Dorothea Veit-Schlegel, Kleist, Eichendorff und Tieck). Abgeschlossen wird die Sammlung durch drei dezidiert textanalytisch verfahrende Studien zu Arnim und Brentano sowie durch eine überraschende Lektüre Rahel Levins von Arnims »Wunderhorn«.
