Before time.
Before stars.
Before even the whisper of life…
There was The One—a consciousness vast and eternal, who shattered the silence with a single desire:
To learn.
From the moment The One breathed light into the darkness, the universe exploded into motion—stars were born, galaxies spun, and life unfurled across countless worlds. But creation was not the end... it was the beginning of a journey—a journey not only of knowledge, but of longing, of connection, and ultimately, of love.
This powerful metaphysical short story is a breathtaking fusion of myth, science, and spirit. Inspired by Homeric epic, biblical echoes, and modern cosmic wonder, W.K. Clyde takes you on a soul-deep journey from the dawn of existence to the human heart’s final return home.
Dive into themes of:
The origin of the universe and consciousness
Spiritual awakening and our divine connection
The illusion of separation between races, nations, and souls
The truth that death is not an end, but a return
The eternal love between The One and the souls It created
If you’ve ever pondered life’s greatest questions—Why are we here? Where do we go? Are we alone?—this story will linger in your heart long after the final page.

Greetings,
I'm Warren Kenneth Clyde, writing under the name W.K. Clyde. I was born in the vibrant city of Verdun, Quebec, Canada, and ever since I can remember, stories have danced through my mind—some wild, some wondrous, all aching to be told.
But for much of my life, I carried the weight of doubt. I didn’t follow the traditional path, and at times, I questioned if I even had the right to call myself a writer. Life took me through many turns, from job to job, chasing meaning that always seemed just out of reach. I often asked myself, "Is this all there is?" Until I found the answer in words.
Writing became my refuge. It gave me Pangerath—a world of magic, myth, and enduring friendship. It gave me Valentine—a vampire whose millennia of memories echo the loneliness we all feel, and the yearning for connection. And most recently, it gave me The One: A Tale of Creation, Love, and Return, a deeply personal story that explores where we come from, why we’re here, and where we go when we die.
This story, unlike my others, came from a place beyond fantasy. It was born from grief, hope, and the need to believe that we are loved—not just created to teach or serve—but to be cherished. It reminds us that we are never alone. That each soul is a spark of something divine. That we are all connected—beyond race, religion, and form—woven together like stardust in a cosmic embrace.
Fantasy is my sanctuary. A place where wizards, witches, vampires, gods and demons become more than characters—they become truths. They reflect the pain, the joy, the longing we all share. My writing is where I find healing. Where I rediscover friendship, purpose, and love.
To those who’ve ever doubted themselves, who’ve felt lost or unseen: these pages are for you. Within every story, I pour my heart. And if you find even a flicker of light in my words, then I know I've done what I was meant to do.
To those who left reviews for my work—Pam, Joanne, and the unnamed kind soul—thank you. Your words lifted me when I most needed to believe in myself. I wish Amazon had notified me of them sooner, but your kindness still found me in the end.
As I continue revising Valentine's Vampiric Volumes and dive deeper into Pangerath Unveiled, I invite you to walk with me into the unknown. There’s still so much to write, so many realms to uncover. The last book in the Pangerath series will be Pangerath: Gods and Demons, and if the stars align, perhaps a prequel to show how it all began.
Until then, thank you for reading. Thank you for believing.
Let’s journey onward together.
Warm regards,
W.K. Clyde
