About this ebook

The world seems infested with 'bloodthirsty criminals', and India is no exception. 'Everywhere I look, I see murderers reveling in their macabre festival of blood.' Some are hardened professionals; others are driven by personal vendettas, trapped in the darkness of their own circumstances. Blood flows 'through every street, every alley, behind every door and window' — its crimson stains marking the very fabric of our society.

They say 'stories are a mirror to society' — if that is true, then these tales offer you a glimpse 'beyond the mirror, into its murky depths'. We come across countless narratives adorned with polished, ornamental words, but few dare to reflect the raw, jagged, and unvarnished truth. 'I choose to tell those stories.' Because I believe that people 'must confront their own darkness'. 'The virtue of Ram is truly understood only in the presence of Ravan'—his 'defeat, his fall, and the celebration of victory'. It is in this spirit that I bring forth these 'blood-soaked sagas', unearthing the grim realities that lurk beneath the surface. Every story within these pages is 'true' — a 'real account of crime and consequence'.

These stories are brutal, 'dripping in blood and tragedy', yet they expose a 'harsh reality' that we often brush past—reduced to a mere 'hundred-word news snippet, quickly forgotten'. Within these pages, you will not only witness the savagery of crime but also 'delve into the twisted psyche of its perpetrators'. These are not just crime stories; 'they are revelations of a society’s concealed truths'.

They compel us to ask: 'Why do we continue to fail in stopping crime?' This book does not glorify criminals. 'It does not romanticize violence.' Instead, it 'lays bare the truth', challenging us to confront it.

"Raktabimb" is a collection of criminal chronicles that span every layer of society—'because crime does not belong to the underworld alone; it festers in every corner, in every shadow, waiting to be seen.'
