Helter Skelter: The True Crime Classic and Definitive Account of the Manson Murders

If you read this as gospel from a man who prosecuted and made money of the "scary manson"you need to read more. This is just 1 side of the story. Manson did not ORDER these people to burially murder tate etc. He said to the women to listen to the real sick and twisted one, tex Watson. He if anyone could Make someone do anything it was him,he has changed his story so much over the years. Manson never changed his story. As for kababians account as the gospel truth, NO. She. Like all of them tried to save their own a$$ The media did the rest. Why they kept someone who at the most somehow persuaded all these brutal killings even when he said they had done it all wrong after the first one. It's just bias like everything on manson, he was trialled by media, pressures for everyone to blame CM. Kept in handcuffs and mostly solitary for decades is disgusting. He didn't have a defence, he was guilty b4 he started. Lucky for him he was used to prison from a child. No angel but a scapegoat.

A thoroughly fascinating insight, from the actual prosecutor of the case, into the infamous Tate & LaBianca murders committed by members of the Manson "Family" in 1960's California. Although it is truly horrifying to read in places because of the difficult subject matter this book kept me enthralled from beginning to end. In my opinion Helter Skelter is a must read for fans of true crime.

A very detailed look into the murders ordered by Manson, plus the motives behind it. Comprehensive accounts of the arrests and trials of the Tate-LaBlianca murders and very fascinating insight into the inner workings of Manson's "Family". All in all a very good read.
