Victor Sebestyen, nato a Budapest nel 1955, è giornalista, storico e scrittore; ha collaborato con alcune tra le più importanti testate in lingua inglese, tra cui il Times e il New York Times, seguendo come corrispondente da Berlino e da Budapest la fine dell’URSS. Nel 2006, Rizzoli ha pubblicato Budapest 1956.
