Vampirella: Southern Gothic: Southern Gothic

Apparently, after some research, all of the 1-star ratings were the result of a targeted mass rating-bombing campaign against Dynamite Entertainment (including this and other comics by this publisher) within a very short period of time. Therefore, they are artificial ratings and should be ignored. This comic itself is very good. The story is classic Vampirella horror reminiscent of the Warren Magazine years, with a Southern Gothic theme and setting, hence the title. The line and color art are excellent and of high quality. Additionally, there are photo covers for each of the five issues, performed by the same cosplayer who is stunningly attractive and among the best Vampirella cosplays I've ever seen. There are no problems to be found with the digitization. Lossy compression is minimal compared to most e-comics on this store. Overall, a highly recommended comic that was unfortunately unfairly targeted alongside other Dynamite Entertainment comics in a hate campaign.
