About the author

Dr. Ussif Rashid Sumaila is associate professor and director of the Fisheries Economics Research Unit at University of British Colombia Fisheries Center. Gordon R. Munro is emeritus professor of economics at the University of British Colombia. Jon G. Sutinen is emeritus professor of environment and life sciences at the University of Rhode Island.
