His topics of interest are just as broad-from his observations about food, wine prices, parenting styles, public transportation, human behavior to the joys and challenges of travel for the visually impaired.

Despite blindness caused by rentinitis pigmentosa, Dr. Dan Pukstas has continued to teach English at Tompkins Cortland Community College. The recipient of numerous awards for professional excellence, Dr. Dan has written four other books and four plays since the onset of blindness 15 years ago.
