About the author

Udai Pratap Rao has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Patna, Bihar, India, since November 2022. Before this, he served as an Assistant Professor at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, Gujarat, India, in the same department for over 15 years. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, in 2014. His research interests include cyber security, data privacy, machine learning, security and privacy issues in IoT, and trust management in online social networks.

Isabel de la Torre Díez is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Signal Theory and Communications at the University of Valladolid, Spain. She leads the GTe Research Group and has authored or co-authored over 260 papers in SCI journals, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, books, and international book chapters. She has co-authored 22 registered innovative software applications and has been involved in more than 100 program committees of international conferences up to 2023. She has participated in or coordinated 48 funded European, national, and regional research projects.

Andrea Visconti received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2005. He holds a tenured position as an Associate Professor at the University of Milan. He has also been a contracting professor at the University of Trento (Sept 2015 – Sept 2018), a guest researcher at NIST (Feb 2012), and a contract professor at the University of Insubria (Sept 2005 – Sept 2006). He co-founded an art-tech startup in Milan (2019 – present). His research interests focus on cryptography, coding theory, and information security, both theoretical and applied. Andrea has co-authored about 60 papers and served as a guest co-editor for special issues on the Internet of Things and Security and Communication Network. He leads the Crypto and Coding Theory group at the University of Milan.

Pethuru Raj, Ph.D., is the Chief Architect at the Edge AI division of Reliance Jio Platforms Ltd. in Bangalore. He previously worked at IBM Global Cloud Centre of Excellence, Wipro Consulting Services and Robert Bosch Corporate Research. He has over 23 years of IT industry experience and 9 years of research experience. He completed his CSIR-sponsored Ph.D. at Anna University, Chennai, and continued with UGC-sponsored postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He was awarded two international research fellowships to work as a research scientist for 3.5 years at two leading Japanese universities.
