Good start of the series and good romance with good characters. 4.5 I liked the story, the rise of feelings and the theme about the violence against women, without sinking into misery, while showing a heroine who can not defend herself, but who decides to learn not to to be a victim. The beginning is a little slow, but once all the characters and their links were set, the reversals captivated me. The cliffhanger is very or very well placed. Sadie flees from a toxic and violent situation with her ex-boyfriend Luke. She decides to take charge and starts taking kickboxing classes in the gym next to her home. His instructor is Troy who is very virulent against men who abuse their strength over women, and each of them gets closer to the other without daring to really start because both are recovering from a difficult relationship, until Luke comes back around Sadie. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
