Great book. I loved the storyline between Nic and Jordan...both from broken pasts. The high speed chase was amazing as well and the outcome even better! Now who is Chris Jacobs? The book leaves it on a cliffhanger and apparently there are no others in the series. It's a shame since I pretty sure Tracy Wolff had a good thing started

LOVED!! It's no secret that I'm a huge Tracy Wolff fan. I adore the unique characters she develops and this book and new series is no different. Here we have a group of people who live and work on the right side of the law. That is until things need handling that might require some special skills. Nic Medina has a past but he served his time and now keeps it legit and runs Hotwired the most sought after car shop in LA. When he's blackmailed into resurrecting his old car-boosting ways he's determined to bring the dirty cop involved to his knees. Never did he expect to get caught not only booting her car but by the heart as well. That's exactly what happened when Jordan Bass came into his life. This one is filled with tons of excitement, sizzling hot sexy times, and a promise for some fantastic stories in the future as we get to know the crew of Hotwired. I highly recommend this one.

I chose this book based on the author’s name alone. And because of that, I really did not read the description. This should tell you how much I like this author. When I finally read the synopsis, I was afraid it was going to concentrate heavily on auto theft. However I was clearly wrong. Jordan is at a car race; looking for a man who can repair the upholstery in a car she just bought from an auction. Across the way she locks eyes with Nic and is instantly attracted to him. When he receives a call from his sister, telling him a cop came to his house and threatened to call CPS and have his nephew taken away. Nic is very protective of his family and friends so he rushes home. While on his way home, he is pulled over by this “dirty cop”. Nic has a history with him. He tells him he has to steal a car if he wants him to leave his nephew alone. Yes this car turns out to be Jordan’s and she does everything in her power to keep her car. So Nic basically “kidnaps” her. But of course he is not a typical abductor. He really didn’t’ want to get her involved in this situation and tries everything to keep her safe. Nic feels like he has the weight on his shoulder and has to care for anyone and everyone, including Jordan. This was a fast paced, well written drama filled story. Nic was a great character. He had a lot of depth to him. Jordan, while a little broken because of her past, found a way to let Nic in. After all, he fed her lunch after he kidnapped her so he can’t be all that bad…right. While you have a happily ever after, you still get a cliffhanger. I have read a lot of books by this author so I found this a little unusual and little disappointing. However that being said, I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I want to find out how she pulls in the other characters to develop their own love stories.
