I enjoy the villainess timeleap/ isekai genre and I think the speculative economics in this book is interesting. The novel feels like it's divided into 2 sides, the finance and economics side and the character/ relationship side. As someone who doesn't have any background in economics or business, I think the author probably knows what he's talking about, but unfortunately, I only had a passing interest in that side. As for the character/ relationship side, I mostly enjoyed it. It is fairly cute and I did enjoy the mc developing her reputation and relationships. However, there are a few scenes where I feel like it is far too self-indulgent and ends up breaking my immersion. I can enjoy it when a character is made to look good, but when she starts singing after watching an orchestra and her singing is apparently so good, the orchestra decides to accompany her, I can no longer take it seriously.

This book had fantastic premise. However, its challenging to follow storyline and random character jumps, along with drawn out monologues and fake newspaper quotes didn't actually help add to the story or the world it was set in. I found the character to be simple minded, with plot holes brushed aside or ignored, making this book hard to me to read. I hope others will enjoy it, as I really wanted to. I still have 35% left, and this will likely be one of the few unfinished books on my shelf.

I love this book! It is refreshing to have a story set in modern times and this one is well written and delivered.
