This is a program that any enterprising student can use to build a platform of strength. This platform can be used for sport-conditioning, further strength training, or simply to feel good and confident in life. I am naturally a runner. Now, I am also a strength athlete. Most of us, the normal citizens, will need little else. In fact, all the extra you are getting from other sources is too much and is distracting you from your primary mission in life.

great program, you will see results, but don't think that simple is easy! Written in the concise way that Thomas Foley is know for, you have to reread everything to make sure you get the techniques correctly. Don't skip any steps, even if they look too simple. Read every sentence and check your technique with videos of Foley online, and this won't hurt you, it will only make you stronger

I appreciate the simple but detailed instruction and programming, and the explanations behind the program design. I am one of those people that will have to work as hard keeping myself disciplined and follow the program without adding in a few pull ups and presses....leap of faith to not do an explicit lat pull or strict press in trading but I am excited to give it a try.
