Theo's imagination is limitless and I for one, am very thankful. The 8th book in this series is just as entertaining and hysterical as the 1st. It has all the action, drama and snark we all love about Mercy books. Plus it has my beloved character Paulie. He always makes me laugh so hard my belly hurts. You know the old saying: "No rest for the wicked?" Well in Mercy's case, formally wicked. That describes this book and Mercy's predicament. I sure feel for her. Well it turns out that way back in ancient times Baron Sedemi and some a$$hat placed a wager and guess who lost. Yep, the Baron. So now every time there is a "Bloody Moon," ALL vampires loose their souls and they become inhabited with ghosts. The only way it seems, that Mercy can save her friends is to give up her soul for good. Can she find a way to save them all and still retain her own soul? It’s worth the read to find out. It has the whole gang, edge of your seat action, ROF hysterical banter and just plain awesomeness.

The world Theophilus Monroe has created keeps me enthralled. The characters are well crafted and each of their back stories/histories are interesting enough to keep me wanting more. I've been saving Mercy for last because she has been my favorite throughout each book in the shattered gates series. Bloody Moon does NOT disappoint!! New secrets uncovered, plenty of action to keep you wrapped up in the anticipation of how it will turn out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book 8 in the Fury of the blood witch series by Theophilius Monroe a very talented writer I have read many of his book series, including this one. The main character is mercy. She is a vampire and she’s back again with her team on another action pack adventure characters draw you into the story and the author draws you into the world of the characters, this is a definite page Turner, and keeps you reading to the very end and wanting more, start with book one and read them in order.
