この電子書籍について

I was born in London, England in the early 1960’s and moved to America in July 1979. I visited Orlando, Florida in 1980 and made it my home. I started to lose my sight at the age of 32 during my seventh month of pregnancy, due to a combination of preeclampsia and diabetic retinopathy. In December 2008, I met Bruce Wayne Riddle in out-of-sight.net, a chat community for the blind. Bruce inspired and encouraged me to write “The Silent Fear”, a novel, which brings forth the corruption and manipulation of the judicial world. It portrays a man’s lust for power, the influence of alcohol and how he finds himself with an inherited abusive nature, even to those he loves. While one brother drives to the top, The Silent Fear has a heartfelt message of one Uncle’s unconditional love and compassion for his nephew and the extreme lengths he is willing to go to in order to protect the child. You will experience the powerful scales of justice. Also, you will experience the love and concern of the characters, along with the sudden twists an explosive and unpredictable ending. Bruce died October 2nd 2009, two days after reading the final chapter. I will cherish his memory forever. Go to jbheart.net to find out the story behind my pen name.

Author's Biography I was born in London, England, in the early 1960s and moved to America in July 1979. I visited Orlando, Florida, in 1980 and made it my home. At the age of twenty-two, I started my own travel agency. I started to lose my sight at the age of thirty-two during my seventh month of pregnancy, due to a combination of preeclampsia and diabetic retinopathy. A friend named Robin, who I had met when getting my second guide dog a black Labrador named Leibe, suggested I visit a community chat site for the blind and visually impaired called out-of-sight.net. It is there where I met one of the kindest, most compassionate, and wittiest people ever. He also had once had a black Labrador named Charlie. He brought light back into my dark world by encouraging me to write a novel. Bruce Riddle was the president and founder of out-of-sight.net, and he took an immediate liking to my English accent, him being from Texas. I shared with him my passion for writing, letting him read some children's books, poems, and a few country songs that I had written. It was him who inspired me to write this novel. Bruce died October 2, 2009. He loved the book and told me it would be a best seller and that he wanted the first autographed copy so he could tell people he knew me when I was not famous. It was only two days after reading the final chapter that he unexpectedly died. I will cherish his memory forever. I also want to thank my husband Rick, my son Ricky, Robin and her husband Joe, and my best friend Sheila for their contributions to the book. Please visit jbheart.net and go to Bruce's corner to find the story behind my pen name. "The book is riveting and the plot, excellent. I loved the twist at the end." Linda Knights, Book Club Critic from Portland, Maine.
