Whatever became of the Egyptian queen Nefertiti? She was the wife of Akhenaten and disappeared completely from all historical records. James C. Marlas grew up in the American Midwest and attended Harvard and Oxford before becoming an entrepreneur, a world traveler, and a lover of historical fiction. He has been writing stories since the sixth grade, when he composed a fictional adventure about ancient Mayan culture. James and his French-born wife of thirty-three years live on the American east coast and in southern France.
