Carl Sommer is a passionate educator, author, and entrepreneur dedicated to helping children and adults succeed through character-building and practical learning. A former New York City high school teacher and founder of the largest precision machining company of its kind in North America, Sommer brings a unique blend of classroom and real-world experience to his work. He has authored over 300 books—including the award-winning Sommer-Time Stories—and developed the acclaimed Phonics Adventure and Sommer Learning programs, which provide free educational resources in reading, math, writing, typing, and life skills. His materials have won over 100 national awards and are used by learners of all ages around the world. Married since 1955, Carl is a devoted family man with five children and twenty grandchildren. He wrote, developed, and promoted inspiring educational content to build strong minds and strong character.
