Ian Hunter graduated from Hunter College with a degree in English literature. His interests include painting, writing, and the antique cars he drives every day. He illustrated and co-authored The Curious Puffer. He shares author credit with his mom, Claire Kennedy. Her love for scuba diving and the beaches on Long Island and in Maine inspired this story.
