The engagement of life in all its surprises, the faces and actions of people, the impressions given by nature, the way these stir the heart and entice the mind into a resonant speaking of the occasion become incidents of poetry in the poets mind. At least I find it that way. These are collectedsome are selected, brought together in this book. Once they are here, they are invited to play poet with the minds and hearts of readers, even of this reader, on revisiting them in the course of time. At times, they have been called painterly in their raising an image to the readers eyes, an image that invites the reader to engage and be engaged creatively. It is my hope that this is the result of your browsing herein.
نبذة عن المؤلف
I am a retired minister from the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) living in the hills of the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. During the course of my ministry, I began writing poetry; that was in the early 1980s. The process and product of writing poetry have been useful and satisfying to me. I began a few years of attendance on the online poetry workshop Desert Moon Review in April of 2004, finding my involvement helpful to me as a poet. I live in retirement with my wife of forty-seven years, a pair of dogs, and a handful of cats.
