About this ebook

“So you and the dog are a package deal, then?”

“Yes. But just so you know, Mr. McAllister—I’m not for sale, either.”

School librarian and Comfort Paws cofounder Belle Darling will do anything to keep her reading assistance program going at Bluebonnet Elementary—except sell her beloved dog, Peaches, to billionaire Cash McAllister! And yes, he has the funding to keep the program going—but he wants this particular dog because she is the first creature his orphaned niece turned daughter has shown real interest in since her parents died. So Belle insists Cash take classes with Belle to train a new dog for his little girl. And when their working together reveals Belle and Cash’s explosive chemistry—and a connection neither expected—will their tenuous alliance become a more permanent partnership, canines and all?

2.5⭐ It was okay, with a few good moments, disliked most of it. Theme of dyslexia Spoilers below Both MCs have a history of abandonment, her with her mother leaving to go off with a rich guy, him with being left at boarding school, nobody realizing he needed more support with his dyslexia. You have the little kid's mother dying of cancer too. The butler or something ends up at the hospital. There's a miscommunication trope & between them not getting along for 15 chapters & then the stalker this was not as cosy & relaxing as I had hoped, with both their trauma & grief .Also kind of ridiculous that the mega rich guy has no security especially when he is responsible for looking after a child. It improves with more heartwarming scenes around chapter 15, until something bad happens. One of the guys in the dog class gets kicked out & he starts stalking her, showing up to confront her as she is alone in the garden..The things he says trigger her previous trauma with her mother abandoning her to go off with a rich guy, she's scared that by liking a rich man she is becoming her mother.. She keeps getting annoyed that he uses money to try get things his own way & help her book get published. They fight over it a little & she goes home & no contact with her. Omg you don't adopt a stalker's dog when he goes to prison when you don't have so much experience with pet dogs just to win a girl's heart. ♿ Read aloud on Google Play Books app for Android for E books (it allows you to read aloud almost any eBook when you have accessibility settings such as select to speak enabled,it has continuous reading but no sleep timer. Heat rating (romance.io) :glimpses & kisses Content Warnings Moderate: Grief, Medical trauma, Stalking, Death of parent, Abandonment Minor: Cancer, Medical content, Car accident, Alcohol, Injury/Injury detail Minor : pancreatic cancer ,dangerous driving(driving with a broken ankle) Minor : threatening an ex girlfriend with a knife Moderate: child emotional neglect (cold father),death of sister Used the TTS (read aloud mode) but occasionally some words were skipped, it cannot handle the different versions of the words 'nice " place "Nice" read/reading, present and read as past tense and other words like that. The enemies to lovers trope the enemies part felt drawn out too long.
