About this ebook

The first and only book focused on the sidewalk crisis the Philippines currently faces is now at the palm of your hands!

Walk through the history of sidewalks, their importance, as well as their role in modern society.

Identify and analyze the current conditions of sidewalks in the Philippines and discover the dangers such conditions pose to pedestrians and the rest of the general public if left unaddressed.

Learn and be inspired from the steps and solutions that you, as a member of your community, can do to preserve the integrity and importance of sidewalks in a society that does not prioritize pedestrian welfare.

We Need More Sidewalks Especially in Metro Manila and this Book Explains Why! It was a brief but enlightening read. Short enough even for the common layman to understand, complex enough for engineers and policymakers to appreciate the relationship of sidewalks and the society that we have today. Perfect for urban planners, civil engineers, architects and policymakers alike.
