Nice story to be read to children Camelea is very excited during her brother’s birthday. Watching a seagull in the lake nearby helps her in ways she does not understand. Cute book for children to understand their anxiety and enthusiasm and navigate through it. Apt illustrations too.

This was a very nice book. We loved the way the sound of the water calmed her down at the end of the story. It was beautiful.

About the author

Suzanne Gohier is the publisher and co-author of the Camelea series. Suzanne has worked on numerous children story books, including the Caillou children's books and animation. Now she devotes all of her talent and energy to the charming new character of Camelea, a children's classic stories.

Anything is possible with a fantasy hairdo! This was how the Camelea series was born. Camelea finds within herself the confidence to face her fears. Her enthusiasm and resourcefulness are an inspiration to children as they learn to meet the challenges of everyday life.

Frank Chaput is the co-author of the Camelea series. His wife Suzanne dreamed of creating her own books and had a brilliant concept for the visual component of the content.

Frank was inspired to write the Camelea books by his knowledge of spiritual literature and hypnosis. In the Camelea series, children discover ways to build their confidence and feel good about themselves.

Frank combines his life experiences within his own family and the beauty of nature in his books. They are filled with lovely illustrations of the natural world.
