She knew it was dangerous, but she knew it had to be this way.  No other way was normal—to her.  From the moment she fell in love as a teenager with Stella, Kathy knew her life would take a difficult path.  She tried to resist her feelings—tried to be the person her family wanted her to be—but the lure of another woman’s love was too powerful.
