This is the sequel to His 16th Face. It follows Beth as she discovers the powers that come with immortality. It spends most of the story inside the Red Forest and Christian’s heart, where Beth learns to heal herself and tries to find Christian before he dies. If you enjoy stories where the man is saved by the woman, then this book is for you. It’s not my cup of tea, but the story is creative and unique and introduces a different world. Read this book without expectations from the first one.

This sequel was nothing I was prepared for. I cannot do it justice with a short review but I'll try. The way this is written with aspects of science, romance, thrills, fantasy definitely keeps you guessing. You come to realize just how important Christian as well as Beth is in the whole scheme of things. Finding out that Beth is far more than what anyone perceived is a trip but explains why she and Christian fit so well even from the start in His 16th Face. What a ride. Thank you!!!!

It's hard to express the level of surprise and awe this book produced in me. As the second of a duology, I expected it to be good just like the first. I did not expect what actually happened to conclude this saga. There is so much story packed into this book and all of it is riveting. The ending made me squeal in delight. Please read them both. You will thank me.
