Another amazing book in this series that left us with quite the cliffhanger!! The murder mystery plot is well developed as always, although this one skews very sad for me, seeing the way young runaways are treated. I did not see the outcome in quite the way it was revealed and I was pleasantly surprised. Other than the mystery plot, the overall series plot of finding the source of the curse on the coven was advanced very nicely, with a lot of reveals and twists coming along with that.

Wow! So much happens in this book. Revelations about the past, tons of new magical discoveries, weird stuff with Grace oh yeah and a murder happened too. Totally amazing story. I was immersed from the beginning and could not put the book down til I was done. I really loved how this story was so magic forward and the investigation was sort of the backseat whereas the other stories in the series are usually the reverse. Good and bad personal things happen with Dani and her group, hopefully all wil

This is a terrific series of paranormal mystery cozies and Spells and the Suspiciously Silent was a great addition.
