About this eBook

What is sin? It is any departure from the law of God. The apostle John states, “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). The study of sin is known in theological circles as hamartiology. This small book provides a concise presentation of the subject of sin and addresses issues such as the meaning of sin, original sin, the sin nature within the Christian, the sin that brings death, and the solution for sin. This study will enhance your understanding of this important biblical subject. What is sin? It is any departure from the law of God.
