About the author

Shishir Kumar Shandilya is an Associate Professor in the School of Data Science and Forecasting at Devi Ahilya University in India. He is also a Visiting Professor at Liverpool Hope University in the United Kingdom. He is a Cambridge University-certified professional teacher and trainer, a TEDx speaker, an ACM Distinguished Speaker, and a senior member of IEEE. Dr. Shandilya is a NASSCOM-certified master trainer for security analysts in SOC (SSC/Q0909: 7 NVEQF Level 7). He has received the IDA Teaching Excellence Award for distinctive use of technology in teaching by the Indian Didactics Association in Bangalore (2016) and the Young Scientist Award for two consecutive years, 2005 and 2006, by the MP Science Congress and MP Council of Science and Technology. He is a highly regarded author with published research works in reputable academic publishers. Dr. Shandilya also has international and national patents and copyrights granted for adaptive cyber defense methods. His research interests include adaptive defense, advanced digital investigation, and forensic methods, explainable artificial intelligence, privacy-preserving computing, nature-inspired cryptography (NIC), and nature-inspired cyber security (NICS).

At present, Fernando Ortiz-Rodriguez is working at the Tamaulipas Autonomous University (UAT). He is a full professor and the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (AI&I) Lab Founder and Head, corporate trainer, business and AI coach, and Information Technology strategic advisor for the National Manufacturing Association (INDEX). He is a member of level one of national systems researchers (SNI) of the prestigious National Council for Science and Technology (Conacyt) and member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). He received 2021 and 2022 Latin American awards (u-gob) for implementing and developing software to help with COVID-19 diagnosis in Mexico.

Smita Shandilya (Senior Member-IEEE) is a Professor at SAGE University, Indore, with extensive experience in teaching and research. She has delivered numerous invited talks at national seminars and has published research papers in reputed international and national journals and conferences. Her primary research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. She is an integral part of the research and development section at her institute and has contributed to multiple research projects.

Gerardo Romero was born in Zacatecas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in automatic control from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, in 1990, 1993, and 1997, respectively. He has been the Head of the Department of Electronics from 1999 to 2014 and the Head of Graduate Studies and Research since 2014, at the UAM Reynosa Rodhe of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas. His research interests include robust stability analysis and control of linear and non-linear systems and their applications to robots and industrial processes.
