Jaycee Bullard was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota, the fourth child in a family of five. Growing up, she loved to read, especially books by Astrid Lindgren and Georgette Heyer. In the ten years since graduating with a degree in classical languages, she has worked as a paralegal and an office manager, before finally finding her true calling as a preschool Montessori teacher and as a writer of romantic suspense.
Sommer Smith teaches littles in a rural school district when she isn't writing. She loves reading romances, writing about fairy tales, caring for animals, and going to the beach. She started writing her first novel when she was thirteen and has wanted to write romances since. Her three children and amazing grandchildren provide her inspiration to write with their many antics. With two dogs and a horse to keep her active, Sommer stays busy traveling as much as she can in between.
