Informazioni su questo ebook

"A collection that refuses to be defined."

Seattle Collection is Oscar O'Rourke's first collection of short fiction and poetry. A "deeply personal" and idiosyncratic work, Seattle Collection contains seven original and inventive stories that range from horror to surrealism to drama--and which often gel all three together, while his poems mix frank emotions with stunning lyricism and imagery. The book is capped off by his acclaimed epic poem The Bridge in My Grandmother's House, which is written in rhyming free verse and includes elements of horror, fantasy, and mythology.

Stories Included:

1. Anomie

2. The Cavern

3. Auburn Devils

4. Skinwalker Necrovera

5. Where All the World Can See

6. Lonesome Treks

7. Emptiness

Poems Included:

1. "Finale Finale"

2. "Won't Listen"

3. "Growing Apart"

4. "Caverns and Echoes"

5. "Adok God Ym"

6. "The Hawk"

7. The Bridge in my Grandmother's House

Oscar O'Rourke is a masterful writer of prose and poetry whose work spans various genres. He is perhaps best known for his novellas Marley's Melancholia and When the Iris is Pink. He is known for his distinctive and beautiful prose, realistic characters, and experimentalism.
