About this ebook

Alexandra Beaumont, the daughter of a billionaire mayor of the city of Blackwater, had a pretty easy life until she and her younger sister were brutally murdered. After awakening in her grave three months later, Alex will discover that her death will be anything but easy. While she lay dead, the Fallen, a violent and malicious race of trans-dimensional demons, invaded Blackwater with an army of the walking dead, spreading a plague of carnage, death and unleashing a lethal zombie apocalypse.
As part of the demonic ritual, which led to the zombies and spirits being summoned, the Earth is allowed a guardian, who can compete in a deadly game for a chance to save the Earth from the Fallen’s destruction. Alex discovers she has been chosen and must defeat five Fallen Judges hidden throughout Blackwater, and she must do so before sunrise.
As Alex fights her way through the derelict and plague-ravaged city, and the millions of zombies and other undead creatures that swarm the streets, she will discover that she may not be who she used to be, and she may have to become something else entirely. It will be her only chance if she is to survive the zombie apocalypse, defeat the walking dead, win the game and defeat the Fallen.

I'm loving the zombie books at the moment but theres alot of trash out there. Im a huge fan of Darren Shan and his Zom-b books, but this one is on a whole new level. This one dares to take the zombie doomsday thing to a new level too. I think making the heroine a zombie of sorts its an amazing idea, and shes totally kickass to boot, learning new abilities and upgrades. at first i thought this could be based on videogame, but i found no evidence of that. this book is great, no two ways about it. but be warned, its not for the faint hearted. one notable mention, how she repairs herself after being torn apart by zombies lol amazing! get this book, its pretty amazing 5*

This book is going to be huge, with it's hidden moral dilemmas, its social puns and extremely will written style, it going to be an instant classic. The first point to point out is the writing style. Its complete new, with a poetic edge, this story has been crafted, not just told as other books have, it has a very unique structure to all the sentences and paragraphs. At first, you kinda think this quality of writing is a waste on a zombie supernatural thriller, but it does work. Secondly, everyone remembers the hidden message in Dawn of the dead, the 1976 classic satire towards the growing shopping obsession and materialistic junction. Well ATF does the same thing towards social media and greed, and what happens when it's taken away. Its a clever book, as a uni major, zombie books dont make me think, thats why i read them. But this one did, and i'm feeling a tad guilty for it too. A great cacophony of musings, action scenes and a massive battle with the demon Butcher at the end that was just poetry in motion. Extremely well done!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done Mr. Beadle. Roll on the next book please. Marcus the great
