Margo is the pen name for M.I. Waleed. She was born and raised in Detroit, and attended Marygrove College, where she pursued her Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. M.I.Waleed is a true survivor. After an accident changed her life, she decided to actively pursue her dreams. She attributes her artistic abilities to her father, Khalid Bin Waleed, and her love for reading from her mom, Charnique Colbert. When she’s not reading, writing, and raising her son, she is working to become a healthier person.
