About the author

Dr. Santosh Dhar is Rector & Dean - Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She has been engaged in teaching, research, corporate training and consultancy for the last forty two years. She has widely published her work and has more than460 publications to her credit. Her earlier assignments have been Professor, Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management, Indore; Professor, Amity Business School, Amity University, Greater Noida campus; Professor, Institute of Management and Dean – Research, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur; Senior Professor, OB/HR, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur; Professor and Chairperson – OB/HR Area, Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad and Guest Faculty at IIM Kolkata and MICA Ahmedabad. Many research scholars have been awarded Ph.D degree under her supervision. She has designed and conducted management development programs for the executives of several business houses, such as Grasim Industries, JK Tyre, Bridgestone, Hindustan Motors, ONGC and GAIL to name a few. She has been on the Panel of Reviewers of Oxford University Press and Tata McGraw-Hill. She was Managing Editor of Prestige Journal of Management and Research and Prestige Research Abstracts. She has been Chairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development (Indore and Jaipur Chapters) and was on the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Training and Development. She has presented papers in several national and international conferences/seminars and had the opportunity to visit Kathmandu (Nepal), Male (Maldives), Bangkok (Thailand), Beijing, Shangai, Guanzhou, Shenzen, Hong Kong (China), Seoul (South Korea) Dubai (UAE), Tumu (Myanmar), Poland, United States, Italy and France in connection with various professional and academic assignments.


Dr. Dhar had coordinated the implementation of a project on the Empowerment of Women through Enterprise in North India (2000–2002), which was funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). She has completed the research projects on Problems of Women Trainers in India and Quality of Work Life as a Determinant of Mental Health in Pharmaceutical Industry. She has also been principal investigator for Asian Development Bank funded and Rajasthan Government sponsored RUIDP Consultancy project on Capacity Building of ULBs of Different Towns of Rajasthan. She has twice been chairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development Jaipur and Indore Chapter & Chairperson of the Best Paper Award of the Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi. Dr. Dhar was conferred National Fellowship for her contributions to HR by the Indian Society for Training and Development in 2006–07. She is life member of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN), and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

BeingDr. Upinder Dhar is First Vice Chancellor of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (Indore). Earlier, he was Group Additional Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academics), Amity University (Noida); First Vice Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University (Jaipur); Director - Institute of Management, Dean - Faculty of Management, and Dean - Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research, Nirma University (Ahmedabad); Director - Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Indore); Professor of Management at NITIE (Now IIM Mumbai). He has conducted 811 management and faculty development programs for the executives of major business houses and faculty members of academic institutions respectively. He has also been Guest Faculty at IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Trichy and IIT Roorkee. Besides undertaking consultancy assignments, he has authored/co-authored/edited 880 publications. Forty-Six (46) scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision by various universities.


A Fellow of ISTD and a strong proponent of Case Method, Dr. Dhar was conferred Ravi J. Matthai National Fellow Award by the Association of Indian Management Schools in 2018, andAIMA-Kewal Nohria Awardfor Academic Leadership in Management Education – 2022 by the All India Management Association in 2022. He has been on the Panel of Reviewers of number of international journals, such as International Journal of Training and Development, Human Resources International, Journal of Global Business and Technology, and South Asian Journal of Management. He has also been on the Panel of Experts maintained by the NAAC (Bangalore), NBA (Bangalore); ICSSR (New Delhi); and SAQS (Hyderabad). He was President of Anthropological and Behavioral Sciences Section of the Indian Science Congress Association in 2007–08, Indian Society for Training and Development in 2008–09 and Association of Indian Management Schools in 2014–15. He has also been Member of the Council of Management of AIMA, Member of ATMA, All India Board of Management Studies of AICTE, Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Governing Board of DELNET, and Member of the Executive Board of AMDISA.


Dr. Dhar was awarded Commonwealth Fellowship twice to present his papers at the South Asian Management Forums held at Royal Institute of Management, Bhutan and Lahore University of Management Science, Lahore. He was invited by the American Society for Engineering Management as resource person for Case Method during its international annual Conference held at Minnesota in 2013. He has also been resource person in the Leadership for Academicians Program (LEAP) sponsored by MHRD and organized by IIT Roorkee in 2018 and BHU Varanasi in 2019. He was invited to deliver keynote address in the International Conference of ITAM at Montpellier Business School, France and University of Cagliari, Italy in July 2024. He had the opportunity to visit. Ivy league institutions like Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Yale University School of Management. He has also visited 20 countries for professional and academic interest.


Dr. Dhar has been on the high powered Expert Committees constituted by MHRD, UGC and AICTE. Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh had nominated him as Chairman of the Search Committee for the appointment of Vice Chancellor – Awadh University. He was President of the International Simulation and Gaming Association (2021–22), and a Member of the Standing Committee on Specification of Degrees u/s 22 of the UGC Act, 1956; Expert Group constituted for Implementation of NEP 2020, and Governing Council of the Association of Indian Universities. Currently, he is a member of the Executive Board of AMDISA (2022–24). He is nominee of AICTE as a subject expert on the Board of Governors (BoG) of Xavier Institute of Development and Studies, Jabalpur and Asian Business School, Noida. He is the Co-Chair of IndiaCase Research Centre (ICRC) of AIMA, New Delhi. Besides his professional engagements, Dr. Dhar has been a dedicated Rotarian since 1997. He was instrumental in setting up three Rotaract Clubs and one Interact Club. He was President of RCI Indore Uptown for the Rotary Year 2023–24. Currently, he is Rotary District 3040 New Generation Service Exchange Chair.

Dr. Anjali Gupta has more than 20 years of experience in teaching in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology & Science, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She received her B.E. Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Rajasthan University in 2003. She did her M.E. in Digital Communication from IET DAVV, Indore in 2009 and Ph.D. in Electronics & Telecommunication from DAVV, Indore. Her research interests include signal processing, wireless communication, and IoT. She has number publications in international journals and conferences. She is a member of the Board of Studies for Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and member of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of SVVV.


Dr. Gupta has participated in number of workshops related to IOT, Robotics, and communication systems. She has qualified NPTEL-SWAYAM Online Certification course on “Principles of Communication – Part I & II”, and “Discrete Time Signal Processing”. She has received Certificate for Online Certification course on “Signals and Systems” offered by IIT BombayX. She has been the book editor for (i) Industry 5.0 and Paradigm Shift: Emerging Challenges, February 2023, ISBN: 978-93-90951-50-5, (ii) Innovative and Sustainable Developments in Electrical and Electronics Engineering May 2022, ISBN: 978-93-90951-41-3. She has reviewed a number of technical papers and served as Paper Reviewer for 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends In Engineering, ICETE 2023, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, Publication Partner Atlantis Press (part of Springer Nature).


Dr. Gupta has been continuously contributing to the university. She had served as the coordinator of various National events such robotics competetion Navyantram, project competition Navarachana, and National conference Sanmantrana. She has been working as Co-Coordinator of Rotaract Club of SVVV since 2022. She had organized online lecture series ‘Parisamwad’ and ‘Udbhavana’ in 2021–22. Dr. Gupta has been the Co-Coordinator of International Conference on “Innovative and Sustainable Developments in Electrical and Electronics Engineering”, PRAGYATA 2022. Also been the Co-Coordinator of Conference hosted and organized by SVVV in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Vigyan Sammelan and IIT Indore, 22nd to 25th Dec. 2021. She has also worked as an Assistant Exam Superintendent. She has successfully organized Alumni Meet - Confluence 2018, and Committee member of various institute building as well as student activities.
