Fantastic Battle of Demons I am so enjoying this series. I would suggest reading them in order as there are many details that build upon each other. This series is much more mature with an older heroine, bad things happening and a bit more violence. I am a lightweight when it comes to blood and gore, but this series is just not that bad. But, it is not a cozy mystery. I loved this episode. The evil was strong and everywhere. Lots of action and the reader is never certain how things will turn out. I highly recommend this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Paranormal Armageddon! Agatha “Aggy” Lenore and her dachshund, Monty, are happily settling into their “church” home and renovations are proceeding nicely. She has a council to help with her Lares duties and even a boyfriend with big wings. Aggy needs to learn and control her powers and her staff but she will have to hurry or Rome, Indiana will become a vacation destination for a very unwelcome type of tourist. The literary imagination of Sam Cheever is a force of nature! Creative, vivid, and enthralling. This paranormal beauty checks all of my boxes. I received a free copy of the book but my opinions are honest and voluntary.

I adored the first book in this series, and somehow the second is even better. I feel like I have no words left after going on the ride that book just took me on. At least, not any coherent ones that won’t give away the plot. This picks up shortly after the end of the previous book, as Aggy’s still trying to settle into her new role, when all hell breaks loose. Quite literally. We learn new things about Aggy’s powers and those of her Council, as well as some new foes she must face and defeat. I love how this series manages to be action, mystery, thriller, paranormal, romance, and comedy all at once. Each of those is so thoroughly integrated into what this series is, that it wouldn’t be the same, it wouldn’t be right, without all of them together. I was carried away by this story and even though I’ve only just finished it, I can’t wait to get my hands on whatever’s coming next in the series. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
