Another great story in Dale Mayer's "Terk's Guardians" series. Terk had many different psychic skills amongst his guardians but no one who could accurately read Tarot cards so he was eager to learn more about it. When Terk was contacted by Jonas at MI6 with a problem, Royce Harrington was asked to take on the mission ably assisted by his friend Rick. It had come to the attention of MI6 that a young woman, Heather Rothchild, was being held against her will by Faheed, a wealthy Iranian diplomat. H

MI6 is concerned about a man from Iran, currently in Iceland, is killing his wives to gain their inheritance. His fourth wife has just died and he is keeping this wife's sister, Heather, under guard in a luxury setting but she is not free to go. The situation is complicated since the man has diplomatic immunity. M16 contacts Terk for help and Terk asks Royce to enter the mystery. I had trouble putting this book down and will read it again. Royce and Heather's story is a real keep you on the razor's edge and up way past your bedtime read. This well-crafted book pulled me in and had me consumed. Filled with suspense and tension, this dramatic read with its twists, action and intrigue tugs at your heartstrings and gets your pulse racing.
