Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005) was one of the most prolific and influential French philosophers of the Twentieth Century. Dr Alison Scott-Baumann is Visiting Research Fellow, Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion at Lancaster University, UK. She is also Emeritus Reader in Cultural Hermeneutics at the University of Gloucestershire and the Ricoeur Foundation nominated representative in England. She applies Ricoeur's philosophy to research projects regarding social injustice.
