Rethinking Himalaya: Its Scope and Protection

Assistant Professor, Department of Higher Education, teaches English in Government College Seraj at Lambathach, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. His areas of interest in research include gender studies, cultural studies, eco-criticism, psychoanalysis, etc. Being an ardent nature lover, Kulbhushan Sharma writes poetry in English and Hindi and some of his poems have got published in reputed magazines. He also worked as RJ with AIR FM Shimla till 2012. Besides, Mr. Sharma has keen interest in theatre and has directed many plays— Everyman, The Glass Menagerie, Antigone, David Swan, KabiraKhadaa Bazaar Main, Oedipus the Rex, The Judgement of Paris, etc. He is also engaged with Drama division of All India Radio.

working as Assistant Professor (Botany) in Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh, has been assessing the phytodiversity of Indian Himalayan Region since last 10 years. He has the experience of working as Senior Research Fellow at G.B. Pant National Institute Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development, Kullu; as Research Associate at ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, Shimla and as a Consultant at State Centre on Climate Change under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh Council for Science and Technology, Shimla. He is actively involved in the assessment and conservation of plant diversity of Himachal Pradesh. Currently, he is posted at State Council of Education, Research and Training, Solan (HP).  

working as Assistant Professor (Commerce) in Department of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh has research interest in Accounting and Finance. While working as an Assistant Professor, he has spent the past four years with students to bring best out of them and help them to enhance their skills. His educational background includes Masters in Commerce and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil). His M.Phil research was based on “Material Management in Hospitals— A Case Study of IGMC Shimla”. At present, he is posted at Government College Arki, District Solan (HP).
