Universities are powerhouses for nations, education being, as Nelson Mandela would say, the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world. A comprehensive documentation on the functioning of Universities, therefore, can not be viewed as luxury even to a commoner, but almost mandatory for educationists and educational administrators. This volume is a nice attempt in this direction since many educationists may know most of the University system, but not all of it; and some, haphazardly, but not systematically. Justifiably, almost half of the book is devoted to Annexures containing norms, forms and regulations which have high utility value for the user. The authors deserve a hearty handshake.
