The collection of stories in this book represents the mentality of a particular class during the end of 20th century. While penning down these stories, the author Asha Bage, does not try to look at life as female chauvinism or liberation of the female. She just analyses the experience and the endless questions she faces while facing life as a woman. She does not try to attack any belief or culture. It is true that at the end of 20th century life is become more advanced, more materialistic, but how far has it changed the mentality within? On the contrary the conflict in the orthodox mind is still going on. Man is trying to reach within to find out whatever he has lost with a firm belief that it is still there somewhere within.
