Vikram Sharma, PhD is working as an Associate Professor in the Mechanical-Mechatronics Engineering Department at The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), Jaipur, India. He has over twenty years of teaching and research experience. He holds a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, an M.E. degree in CAD/CAM, and Ph.D. degree in the field of Automobile supply chains. His current research interests include Lean and Green Manufacturing. He has published several papers in National and International Journals and Conferences.
Vikrant Sharma, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mody University of Science and Technology, Lakshmangarh, Rajasthan. India. He graduated in Production Engineering from the University of Pune in 2004. He obtained a MasterтАЩs degree in Manufacturing System Engineering from MNIT Jaipur in the year 2007. He received his doctorate from University Department, Rajasthan Technical University Kota in Production Engineering. He has research and teaching experience of about 15 years and about 30 publications in international journals of repute. He published 05 textbooks. He also won the first prize (100000 INR) for the book тАШCNC Machines and AutomationтАЩ from AICTE in the all-India level competition under the scheme named тАЬTAKNIKI PATHYAPUSTAK PURASKAR YOJANA-2014тАЭ (Technical Text Book Prize distribution Scheme of 2014). He is a life member of the Institution of Engineers (India) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET, UK).
His research interests include Industrial engineering, optimization techniques, production and operations management, plant layout, multicriteria decision making, and product design.
Om Ji Shukla, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna. He has received his doctorate from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur and a Master of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani. During his PhD, he worked multi-agent-based production systems that involves real-time production scheduling problems. He has published several research papers in international Journals and conference proceedings. He has also authored several book chapters in edited books. His research interests are Agent-based modelling, AI in manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and E-waste management. He is currently heading the Entrepreneurship Cell at NIT Patna as Professor in charge.
