He is also recognized internationally for his many books and arrangements of fiddle and violin music published by Mel Bay Publications. He has recorded for artists including Randy Travis, Billy Dean, Kathy Mattea, Charlie McCoy and Roy Clark. He also performed as a musician on the Grand Ole Opry for 2 years and has worked live shows with many artists. Performing live is a big part of his love for music.
