About the author

Pravin Gupta (born March 11, 2004) is an Indian author, poet, and Founder, CTO at MicTale. He wrote his first novel at the age of 16 and has authored eight books to date.

His latest poetry collection, "Her Love Drowned the Poet", quickly became a bestseller on Google Play Books. Notable works include "The Star Is Not Dead", "Chappal Par Chipka Kichad", and "Kaalikh".

In 2021, Pravin coded and launched his own social media app, Cord, but lost its source code in a ransomware attack. The following year, he founded an edtech startup, Opion, a knowledge-driven app that was eventually shut down due to lack of funding.

Currently, Pravin serves as the Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at MicTale, a new-aged open mic platform, and resides in Delhi, India.
