His latest publications include The Future of Governing, and co-editing Taking Stock: Assessing Public Sector Reform. Jon Pierre held a chair in Politics at the University of Strathclyde 1996-1998. His recent work includes Bureaucracy in the Modern State; he is current co-editor of Governance: An International Journal of Policy and Administration.
