Informazioni su questo ebook

A deadly conspiracy at the heart of Washington, D.C.

Dr. Gary McHugh, known as the "society doc," finds himself in a panic, certain he's about to be arrested for murder. McHugh was found in an alcoholic blackout after visiting the powerful Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Elias Colston, only for Colston's wife to later discover her husband shot dead in their garage. With no memory of the crime and no one to believe his innocence except his longtime friend Dr. Lou Welcome, McHugh's future looks bleak.

As Lou investigates, inconsistencies in the evidence against McHugh nag at him. With the help of ambitious attorney Sarah Cooper, Lou uncovers a high-level conspiracy where right and wrong blur, and national security hangs in the balance. If they can't expose the truth behind Colston's death, not only will they risk their own lives, but the entire country could be vulnerable to devastating attacks.

In Political Suicide, bestselling author Michael Palmer delivers a gripping medical thriller that deftly navigates the treacherous intersection of politics, the military, and medical science. Palmer, the undisputed king of suspense, weaves a page-turning tale of friendship, secrets, and the pursuit of justice against all odds.
