Der Theages (Über die Philosophie) ist ein für unecht gehaltener Dialog Platons, der höchstwahrscheinlich in der platonischen Akademie verfasst wurde und versucht die Anklage gegen Sokrates zu widerlegen. Er gehört zusammen mit den Dialogen Charmides, Laches und dem Lysis zur fünften Tetralogie der platonischen Werke. Der Text lässt sich grundlegend in zwei Teile einteilen. Von denen der erste das sokratische mit dem sophistischen politischen Bildungskonzept kontrastiert und der zweite vom sokratischen Daimonion handelt.
