About the author

Dr Phil Woods is Associate Professor at the College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan. He has an extensive personal portfolio of forensic and mental health related research. He is a well known author of mental health and forensic nursing articles and books.

Dr Alyson M. Kettles is Research Officer (Mental Health) for NHS Grampian in Aberdeen, Scotland. She is also Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen. She has published widely on forensic mental health nursing and has an extensive portfolio of mental health research.
