A dark tale of trust and betrayal that will leave guessing till the end and just when you think you what is going to happen- swanson throws another twist into the windy road. There is much more to this story than meets the eye. I would highly recommend

Swanson used to write for film and tv and his novels read like noirs, this one starts of like a Hitchcock (strangers on the train). This is only his second, and for me, he solidified himself as a first-rate crime writer. Do yourself a favour and read his new one, 'Her Every Fear' and debut 'Girl With A Clock Heart'.

Not as well written or gripping as Her Every Fear. I felt the book prone to unnecessary over description causing it to be alot longer than it needed to be. I found the ending rushed and it seemed the author didn't know how to finish it.
