About this ebook

In this hilarious, low-spice rom-com, a librarian falls for a book-nerd . . . the only problem is they are an ocean apart. Authentically, Izzy is told mostly through emails, texts, and letters and is sure to leave readers with a lighter heart. Perfect for fans of Sarah Adams and Emma St. Clair.

Dear Reader,

My name is Isabelle Louisa Edgewood--Izzy, for short. I live by blue-tinted mountains, where I find contentment in fresh air and books. Oh, and coffee and tea, of course. And occasionally in being accosted by the love of my family. (You'll understand my verb choice in the phrase later.) I dream of opening my own bookstore, but my life, particularly my romantic history, has not been the stuff of fairy tales. Which is probably why my pregnant, misled, matchmaking cousin--who, really, is more like my sister--signed me up for an online dating community.

The trouble is . . . it worked. I've met my book-quoting Mr. Right, and our correspondence has been almost too good to be true. But Brodie lives across an ocean. And just the other day, a perfectly nice author and professor named Eli came into the library where I work and asked me out for a coffee. I feel a rom-com movie with a foreboding disaster nipping at my heels.

But I've played it safe for a long time. Maybe it's time for me to be as brave as my favorite literary heroines. Maybe it's time to take the adventures from the page to real life. Wish me luck.

Authentically,

Izzy

Escape into this fun love letter to books and the people who love them. You'll be sure to laugh out loud and swoon for bookish Brodie as you feel the weight lifted from your shoulders with this sweet, low-spice but high sizzle rom-com.

This book was so much fun! It took me a little bit to get the rhythm of this story, but once I did it all flowed smoothly. The quotes and other books mentioned throughout this story connects all of us together! It's just lovely and I definitely would "match" this book to all my closest bookish friends.

Authentically Izzy is a delightful and smile-inducing read. I was hooked from page one and revelled in the email and text message correspondence that make up the chapters. Izzy Edgewood's character resonated with me on many levels, and her cousins (Josephine, Penelope and Luke) are striking secondary characteristics. Overall, the ending made me smile, and dopamine indeed made its arrival! A thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for giving me a complimentary copy of this book.

Authentically Izzy Pepper Basham A witty, heartwarming, Contemparary Christian Romance, about book lovers. A epistolary novel written in mostly emails and text. Sooooo... Here's the tea!! My cousin thinks now that she has her happy ever after she thinks it's time I do to. With out my knowledge Or consent she started an online profile for me so I can start dating. This is where the trouble started. I started going On these dates however No one seemed to really want to connect. Until Brodie but not realizing we were in different part of the world. I really liked Brodie. He was interested in books which is my life's work. I want to open a bookstore one day. Was interested in my thoughts which was refreshing… but again we are in different parts of the world. Suddenly A author and professor named Eli came by the library. Asked me on a date he seems nice. And I should brave and stop thinking about what I can't have and focus on what I can aka Someone that's actually here? Or should I risk it all???. I hope you grab this frome the quotable book lines to the banter and just lovely characters I think this is a smash hit. I would recommend 👌
