About this eBook

She can read your thoughts and emotions—and you just told her she’s in danger.

Clarity Parker is about to uncover the truth about her past, her psychic gifts—and the man who left her heartbroken.

Clarity has always been different. She can hear thoughts, feel emotions, and sense truths no one else can. She hides it behind a polished smile and a cutthroat edge in the world of luxury advertising. But when Baron Ford—the mysterious man who disappeared five years ago—returns, everything changes.

He’s hiding something.

A strange fog follows him, and the secrets he reveals hint at a hidden war she never knew existed. Baron knows more about Clarity than he should—including the truth about her powerful bloodline. About what she really is.

Now hunted, Clarity is pulled into a world of supernatural danger where trust is a luxury—and her abilities may be her only chance to survive.

Together, she and Baron will confront ancient enemies, unravel buried secrets, and face a love that refuses to die.

Parched is a pulse-pounding paranormal romance perfect for fans of psychic heroines, vampire intrigue, and slow-burn second-chance love.

I really became find of these characters and was heartbroken at how much of a DICK Baron turned into. Just goes to show, you can't give it away unless you have the ring!

I liked the fact that the author took time to build the characters and provide background information. I also like there weren't sex scenes on every other page. However, that's about it. The first book was hardly about romance. It was more like an one-night stand. Didn't build into how they reunited and ends as if love is lost. I would've been more interested in focusing more on Clarity and Baron's love. However, this book is all about her and I'm sure not about to read 7 books to figure out if they come back together. This book also has an enormous amount of spelling and grammatical errors that makes it hard to follow.
