About this ebook

Dating at any age is complicated. Dating at the office is worse.

Navigating big life changes, Mari Gonzales appreciates two constants—her friends and a job she loves. After working with Travis Bentley for seven years, they are friends as much as coworkers, but only at the office. When she offers to help his daughter with her summer wedding that changes things. Outside the office, Mari discovers the man is irresistible.

Travis Bentley looks forward to Monday mornings but reins in his attraction. Dating his personal assistant would make the legal team twitchy, and in his sixties, sneaking around isn’t his idea of a relationship. Asking Mari to give up her job is out of the question.

Travis has a decision to make. And Mari? She must choose between what she has—and what she craves.

Just You #1 (#5) - It is so great to return to this series; it is one of my favorites. Ms. Humphrey did another wonderful job with this fast paced, intriguing addition. The storylines pick up from the previous book with the wedding preparations for Kate and Alex. The clean romance between Kate's father Travis and his PA Mari is a delightful read. There are a few twists, but no stupid formulas, that help keep the reader immersed in the story. The wonderful characters are realistic, know many of them, and their dialog is real, heard it before. The vivid descriptions make the reader fall in love with the beauty of Texas, the Hill Country is an important character, too. The best friends Remi and Charlie add a depth to the story and relationships. Even if you haven't read the previous books, you will enjoy reading Just You; no confusion, just a standalone that's a must to read. I contacted Ms. Humphrey to review her books. 5* All my complete reviews are on Bookbub; reviewer, TexasTexan.

Truthfully I couldn't finish this book. I did get about two thirds of the way through it. It took that long for the main characters to share even a chaste kiss. The story rambled on and on like some kind of soap opera, repeating the same "crises" over and over. Boring. I think I kept reading thinking it would pick up at some point but since I'm not getting any younger I had to give up.

well written, the story is about finding love again between the older generation 50 to 60 year olds. they certainly know how to treat each other. makes a change, makes for a good read and no arrogance or detailed sex truly everyone's dream. certainly mine. would definitely recommend.
