About this ebook

Jim Nash has no plans to attend the wedding of former best friend Warren to Allie Sands, a girlfriend from his past. All that goes out the window when his current partner, Maddie Stone, sees the emails and convinces him otherwise. With the decision made for both of them, Jim and Maddie are waylaid in a small town on the way to the wedding for reasons unknown. Faithful dog Friday is dispatched to rescue the pair.

On arrival at the marina, Jim is determined to discover what’s going on when the Feds make it plain they’re playing for keeps. Convinced that the Feds are up to no good, he takes matters into his own hands with the help of three dogs, three women, and the two men who refuse to see the writing on the wall.

Dogs, kids, and ice cream all play a part in this Jim Nash short story.

A very Caucasian 1-Star: Probably a good book for Dog Lovers & people who read to Dogs... I'm guessing here. The book had a weird, monotone vibe imo. So I never felt the connection of love or friendship between any of the characters. Boring overall, imo, but I kept reading and did get a little teary-eyed toward the end regarding the 3 Bandanas which I didn't anticipate. I didn't like Lisa and the other name they chose at the end - because I feel without a "unique identifier", one can get bogged down by the stereotypes and expectations of those who came before them. PS: This my 3rd free book by this Author. I pick it for quick bus ride reads to & from work. I have yet to read one of theirs that gives me that "now that's an excellent scene" feeling. Not for lack of trying.

About the author

Aviator. Motorcycle rider. Vagabond. Drifter. Trouble-maker. Jack of all trades and master of none. I've been riding and writing about the places I've been and the people I've seen for a few years now. Some of my writing is factual; some of it isn't. I like to leave it up to readers to decide for themselves which lies are the truth.
